It all starts off with the usual last minute call to the Mutaytor crew, and suddenly I've got shows to keep me busy all weekend!

Friday night we played Space 550, which is horrible for stilters... so I was ground bound for the night. Not a bad thing, as shows with the Mutaytor can be improvisational at times and it's better to be hanging out before the set to get things finalized. I hear of the set the next day in the Rotunda of SF City Hall the next afternoon, and I'm down!

Saturday morning comes all too soon after closing the joint down the night before. I'm up on stilts as soon as I exit BART, and find friends on their floats before the journey begins. And then we're off! Dancing down Market St... I get a short way along before realizing the metal grates are slightly larger than the tips of stilts.

Quick, to the Dustfish bus! I climb ino the door of the bus, traversing the open grate of doom below me.
