So we're in our second week and getting the swing of things.
My street shows are getting tighter, and I'm translating lines into Italian to boost the hats. The crowds have been great, and the kids are fun to mess with because they react so well.
Tonight is the first night we are promoted to be performing here in Civitavecchia, so I'll begin doing my fire act I usually do in SF. I've been doing some contact juggling, club juggling, and a 2 high on volunteers' crossed arms this week, so I don't use up all my material before the festival begins.
We must've been too wild in our first hotel, as they moved us into the next town called Santa Marinella, about 3km away from the festival site. It's a gorgeous hotel, the staff are cool (one fellow speaks very good english, and the other one- who is a kickboxer- speaks some)
We're here through Sunday night, then we get on the bus to our next town. I'll get my iteniary for you to have an idea of the travels... I hope we have an internet connection in each town, right now I have to come into Civitavecchia to write this email.
Other than that... Be well, and I'll be back before the SF Decompresson party, doubtlessly with stories to tell and a tan to end all tans...
Yours,
MT
