So it's been a bit since I posted...
We went to Sicily and performed in Catania.... The best part of the whole week was renting scooters to get around... and up to Mt. Etna, the largest and most active volcano in Europe. I got some lava rocks and silt to bring back, which I afshioned into and altar in the next hotel in Reggio Calabria... I was meditating one night and fell asleep, waking a few hours later to a room full of plastic smoke and a guy spraying the TV with a dry chemical extinguisher... The following week was mostly washing all of my and Noah's (my roommate) clothing, and trying to eliminate the blue powder from all of our belongings. Ironically, the trip to Etna was on the Mayan day out of time, ushering in the Mayan New Year of blue crystal storm...
It's been rainy alot since that day, and today we moved our meeting to a cafe when big wetness began to fall from the sky... I'll cross my fingers for tonight's street shows...
Last night was good, considering the late start...
My show went well, and I got more 5€ notes than ever before...
